Why HIIT?
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a workout you can do anywhere that will ensure you get your heart rate up and really get sweating, without having to enter a gym. High-intensity interval training consists of short, intense bursts of energy with either active or complete rest in between. Below is a really simple HIIT workout designed for you to do at home, to get you familiar and confident with some of the basic moves you need.
Before any workout, always ensure you warm up. For this, it couldnât be simpler. Try either jogging lightly on the spot for about 2 minutes or some jumping jacks to warm your muscles up ready to perform a workout. Always make sure you are adequately hydrated too, and sip on water while you are exercising.
